| Darwin | This flexible utility is a replacement for DSNTEP2 that does not require PL/1 libraries which can be useful for those sites that do not use PL/1. It is provided in COBOL source form, with sample JCL and usage notes. The original listing for EDBAB017 provided by Justin Abbott was changed on April 3rd 2006 to prevent 00E7000C abends using some suggestions from Carol Sutkin and David Waugh, and again on May 22nd to prevent problems handling SQLCODES of +100 following another suggestion by James Campbell. | Justin Abbott (Barclays) |
| Darwin2 | This is an updated version of DARWIN which has been very kindly sent to us by Gary Joehlin, with the agreement of his employer Sallie Mae Inc. Naturally we would like to thank both Gary and Sallie Mae for allowing us all to share in these improvements. The original Darwin code has been updated by Gary to support the following improvements:
1) Corrected DSNTIAR message truncation - When an SQLCODE other than +0 or +100 was encountered, Darwin truncated the output of DSNTIAR which
made diagnosing SQLCODEs such as -904 more difficult. |

| Darwin3 | This is an updated version of DARWIN2, modified by Graham Clarke from TNT. Graham updated the Darwin code to avoid an occasional AbEnd when the size of variable DATA-REC was too small. Cheers Graham! |

| Darwin4 | This is an updated version of DARWIN3, modified by Gary Joelin from Sallie Mae Inc. It caters for a redefinition of the syntax rules of embedding certain special registers within a scalar function. He's also made various other code improvements, all of which are documented in the code. Good man, Gary. |
